Made in Canada Opening

Here are pictures of the artwork and the opening reception of the Made in Canada show. Apparently the turnout was slightly small due to everyone staying home and fortifying their homes for the approaching hurricane! (Good reason!) But thanks to that crazy weather, my paintings are still available for sale! Surf on over and buy a piece (at a super affordable price!) online today!

Hi-Fructose posted about it on their blog. Continue reading ‘Made in Canada Opening’

In living color

Awhile back a few fellow comic artists and I took a trip to Portland to be in the Stumptown Comic Festival. There I got to meet the lovely Chris Yates, A fellow cartoonist who does his comic, “Reprographics” using photos. Long story short we had a bit of a hotel room get together with Ed, Robin, Camilla and David during which I doodled and Chris took some pictures. Click on the image above to see just how much of a money hungry bastard Chris thinks I am. Keep on the look out for references to the classic comedy show ” In Living Color.”

Nightmare Photo Booth

While wasting time surfing around the web today I came across a site called Sigost.com It’s a fun online photo booth site that lets you take photos using your web cam. It has some crazy effects you can use (warp, mirror, etc) and it keeps all your photos online for you (via cookie?) for you to look at later or to download. It also shows you the last 5 photos that were taken using the site. It’s pretty funny to see all the cute/wacky pics people are taking all over the world.

I immediately tried to make the scariest pictures I could.

To compare, I’ve put a nice picture here as well.
