Made in Canada Opening

Here are pictures of the artwork and the opening reception of the Made in Canada show. Apparently the turnout was slightly small due to everyone staying home and fortifying their homes for the approaching hurricane! (Good reason!) But thanks to that crazy weather, my paintings are still available for sale! Surf on over and buy a piece (at a super affordable price!) online today!

Hi-Fructose posted about it on their blog. Continue reading ‘Made in Canada Opening’

Made in Canada Group show

Click flyer to enlarge

If you are in the Florida area this Sept then you need to head over to the Bird and Bear gallery inside Tates comics for the all Canadian group show I’m going to be part of.  If you can’t make it there - don’t fret! All artwork will be photographed and available online for sale as well! I sent over some VERY affordable Black & Blood paintings on wood. Buy em up!

More info on the Bird and Bear site.

Hopefully they still have some of the robot shirts that I designed for sale too!

>> Update: Unfortunately the robot shirts won’t be available online as they were a surprise hit and are almost sold out! So get into Tate’s to grab one before they are gone!  There is also a great article about the Made in Canada show here. (Though I am only briefly mentioned! ha)

Sketching for paintings

Working on some ideas for new paintings. I’ve been drawing lots of these stacked characters nowadays. I like the idea of layering them almost like dessert toppings. It’s hard to tell but this one is pretty big (18×24). First time I really sketched this big, normally I project smaller drawings on to canvas with my opaque projector. I think for this show I’ll be working acrylic on paper. Stay tuned for more pics of what I come up with.

More Paintings

I haven’t posted in awhile so I decided to scan in and post some of the small paintings I’ve been doing off and on in the last while. All acrylics + Ink on paper. More to come!
